"I’m grateful this library is here, it’s so cool, I feel like a child. I am glad this exists. If you read this I wanted to bring up to your attention the citibike station. It’s super convenient to have and yet it lacks maintenance. I’m a cyclist and use the bikes heavily. In fact I am learning game theory in practice and motion through citibikes Angel program. The system is designed to pay the users to balance the bikes in the station. The algorithm was designed by a cool math professor. The sparrows have been conditioned to be receptive to the snacks and crumbs the patrons thrown at them. I love bird watching there is so much to learn from birds"

"Highly recommend the "Spin a Yarn" workshop at the Greenpoint Library Eco Lab! I went in knowing nothing about how yarn is actually made and left with a handmade necklace. Malone is a total gem—she is so incredibly patient and walked us through how to spin natural fibers like merino wool using a drop spindle. It’s such a cozy, welcoming environment to learn something new and meet cool people. Check out the video of Malone helping me ply my finished yarn at the end!"

"This place is BUSTLING. It has a good kids area, plenty of places to work, plenty of bathrooms, cool demonstration garden, and even lets you check out tools and board games. Really well-run. Some people sleeping or staying out of the cold, but I’ve never had an issue with anyone being disruptive so far."
